We purchased this set of luggage as it met our travel needs and came in purple. We are very happy with the luggage, but had an issue where two of the bags had tears near the seams after marginal use. We contacted the manufacturer and followed their process. They were very responsive, answering each query within 1-2 business days. In the end, they agreed to replace the bags for us. We have received the new bags, but have not yet traveled with them. We are traveling later this year and hoping they hold up well. I have no problem giving U.S. Traveler a 5-star rating as they did not hassle us about the damage. These bags are light, which is something important to us since we fly a lot and every pound of weight is important. The 3-bag set works nicely.

Lastly, there’s no handle on the side. Only the top. A little annoying.

Took this suitcase for its first trip this month. I almost tripped over it multiple times because it will not stand up on its own, it falls forward every single time. I love how deep the main compartment is, I was able to pack 2 packing cubes in it. I had only bras, underwear, and socks in the front flap compartment so nothing heavy, yet it was constantly falling forward. Guessing it just needs to be a little wider to not do that. Will use this as a backup going forward and switch back to my Amazon basic hard case carry on.

They are pretty lightweight which is good. The wheels work alright so long as the front pocket isn't full. Otherwise the luggage tends to tip over when upright on the wheels. The luggage is kind of flimsy. By that I mean it isn't very sturdy. Example: The retractable handle broke at first use. There was no misuse of it either. It just broke such that the handle wouldn't lock on one side. The replacement luggage came quickly and seems to be ok, but I haven't traveled with the replacements yet. So time will tell I guess.

I like the movability, and the light weight of it but I do not like that it fell apart after traveling only about four times with it. I also don’t like that it tips over easily towards the front and the handle likes to go up and down when you’re moving.

10 months after purchasing, I took the largest piece out on a vacation. The plastic handle broke. Looks like it would be an easy fix if I was able to get the Handle only delivered. But it appears that this is not under a 1 year warranty and you have to purchase a 2 or 3 year warranty when buying. The small & medium luggage or working just fine.

I bought this because I wanted a carry-on that was more maneuverable than my one with 2 wheels. However when used in practice the wheels are too small and do not pivot (did not push well). I ended up pulling it like my 2 wheeled carry-on.
My husband's carry on with 4 wheels have a much heavier duty set of wheels and that made all the difference in being able to push it

Black Friday purchase for the overseas trip my took yesterday. Appeared to be a good carry on until my wife tried to retract the handle after arriving at the airport.
The retractable handle employs two extendable pieces with one piece fitting inside the other. The button on the handle allowed the top piece to retract, but the bottom piece held firm. After about 15 minutes of pressing I was able to get the handle to retract. This avoided having to check it, which would have cost $250 - the airlines third bag charge.
She left with it since there was no time to purchase a new bag. There is almost no chance that my wife would be able to do this. I'd recommend spending a few dollars more to purchase a higher quality bag.

This piece of luggage did not survive two international trips. First item is the wheels do not have adequate support. When fully loaded, the wheel base will fold up into the body and the luggage will fall over. Second item is the wheels are plastic with a thin rubber belt over them. This belt will become loose and jam up the wheel preventing rotation. I had to tear off the bands. Donated this to good will and will replace with another brand of luggage.

I really wanted to like this as I bought it as an anniversary gift but it’s not worth. Spend a bit more for better quality. The pro’s are this is a lightweight bag and the material seemed water proof. However, the maneuverability was TERRIBLE. The wheels didn’t seem to go in the right direction at all and the hardware was FLIMSY. Every time we would try to even hold the handle it would start to collapse. We used this bag for one major trip on different terrains and my tried & true bag (from TJMAXX) outshined every time. Skip this one all together.

I needed a new checked bag and this one was on sale for ~$60. I would not pay full price for this, and compared to a pricier TravelPro suitcase or even the ones my local Harris Teeter gives away during special promotions, this is VERY subpar.
It arrived with a broken inner zipper (pictured) and feels pretty flimsy. The liner has a paper bag sound to it and feels cheap, and the handles/general construction aren’t the best. I planned on keeping it, but I most likely won't because I don't want it to burst at the seams when thrown around a baggage compartment. Long story short, spend a little more and have a forever bag, skip over this cheap bag.

I bought two of these a few months in advance of a trip my wife and I intended to take in August of ’22. We flew to Costa Rica for two weeks. Unfortunately, these suitcases were just not up to the task. I so regret throwing out the cheap luggage we bought at Walmart 15 years ago that had served us so well in many trips and although beginning to look shabby, still worked in every respect. The problems started to become evident upon arrival at our destination. The wheels would buckle under and the luggage would topple over. Not the sort of behavior you desire at the airport or at your destination. I’ve not been so disappointed in a purchase ever before, how these have a four star rating is beyond me. If only one of the suitcases had the problem, I would figure I just got a bad one, but both? These are junk, a total waste of my money. If I could get my cheap, 15 year old Walmart luggage out at the dump, I would. Now I have to invest more money in new luggage. Please do not allow throw your money away with this crap!

I had high hopes for this luggage but was left as disappointed as an abandoned pet left on the side of the road. $150 with tax and an average of 4 stars for reviews? Sounded good to me, but I should've listened to the 1 star reviews. Price does not equal quality.
Wheel broke on first use from the East Coast to Hawaii, loaded with 46 pounds and with 2 sets of criss crossed heavy duty luggage straps to keep the structural integrity. For comparison, the wife and I have the "IT Debonair" luggage in a similar size, and it has traveled well with us for the past 6 years to the Philippines, Grand Canyon NP, Zion NP, Bryce NP, Sedona, Banff, San Francisco, Aruba, the Maldives, Olympic NP, Mt Rainier, Seattle, and Hawaii. Yep, it made the same trip to Hawaii and they're scuffed and scratched up on the surface like the owner of a feral cat, but it's all superficial as all the wheels still glide effortlessly and the retractable handle works flawlessly.
Unlike this garbage. It looks like Evander Hollyfield's ear after Mike Tyson bit off a chunk of it. Save your money and get something durable. Seriously.
You might want to roll the dice and take your chances, but you'll end up like me with a broken suitcase, going "I should've listened to those one star reviews."

On the plus side, this is a very lightweight carryon with functional wheels. On the down side, it's just a cardboard shell underneath the nylon exterior, and it dents easily. Mine arrived with a dent in the top of it. I did not return it then because it did not impair functionality. But now, a few months later, I used it on a trip for the first time and the handle got stuck halfway. It doesn't telescope all the way up, making it too short to hold my slipover travel bag that sits on top. It is outside the return window, so Amazon will not take it back. This is a cheap product. I would not recommend it.

Bought this for my daughter for her birthday in April of 2022. She and her husband were taking a trip to Cabo in May, and needed the large 31" luggage. The first time she used it, one of the wheels started shredding while she was rolling it. The zipper also broke off when she went to open it. I did not buy the warranty because I was expecting it to last longer than one month. I emailed the company, explaining what happened, and sent them these photos, hoping they would make it good since it was only a month old. They replied that they had determined the damage was caused by TSA, and would not replace the luggage. I have seen many reviews also stating the wheels were damaged the first time it was used. So if you do purchase this, make sure you buy the warranty as well, because you will probably need it.

The handle wouldn't reliably retract. I used the suitcase on exactly one trip. The handle would get stuck in the extended position and wouldn't slide back into the case without minutes of delicate fiddling with it to get it aligned just so. That's not good enough for the rushed situations of moving through airports and on and off buses, trains, and cars. Once I finally got it retracted, I ended up awkwardly dragging it around that way lest it get stuck in the out position again. It was frustrating and a waste of money. Otherwise, I liked the suitcase's design, capacity, color, and light weight. Plus, oh yeah, the supposed QR code on the tag that might have let me register the item and seek a replacement?—it didn't lead to any website. My QR scanner couldn't read it.

There is zero structural integrity to it, there is no rigid structural frame whatsoever, if it tears as is going through airlines’ handling, the whole thing will disintegrate and the weight of the load will force the content in the luggage to rip the whole thing wide open unless you place everything in a very thick plastic bag, which defeats the purpose of having a luggage, that’s presuming that the plastic bag will not be damaged as well.
If you make the mistake of buying and keeping it, do not pack any heavy object, only light clothes and place in a thick large plastic bag or else you will see your stuff traveling alone in som airport’s conveyer belt.
The whole structure is paper thin cloth sewed together, there is no solid frame whatsoever
The bottom (wheel part) is solid and could had been used for structural frame , but it was not
When upright if the weight load is pressed down it will exert force on the side walls tat are only sewed together and not framed with any rigid material, only sewed paper thing fabric between your luggage content and the outside world.

We had hotel maintenance sell us a roll of duck tape to hold it together… it made it back to Tampa with only its front wheels intact… literally dragged it back to long term parking after a 30 hour flight ??…. Not good advertisement for its third trip. The wheels are not well attached…

I purchased this set for a trip and the large suitcase lost the wheels on one corner and on the small piece, the telescopic handle stopped working correctly before I got to my destination. At the end of the trip, on the middle size bag the zipper was busted open as it came around on the carousel at the airport. After I purchased this bag I went on a trip and after it’s first flight there was a tear in the front side of the bag. It’s not strong enough for a check in bag and has a very poor quality as it got ripped right after the first flight. Agree it’s a light weight bag but poor quality. I had to purchase another check in bag since I can’t carry my current bag anymore.
